Staging

More than 90% of the people looking at homes for sale do not have the power to visualize what can be done with an a house that is not presenting to its fullest potential. BUT they do know when they see a house they like or when a room "feels good." And almost all of them make up their minds within 30 seconds of entering a house for sale. Remember, you only get one chance to make a good first impression!

Staging is the art of decorating a property so it presents in the best possible way to as many potential buyers as possible. Staging might include decluttering, rearranging existing furniture, or putting furniture into an empty house. Staging gives your property a competitive edge by infusing it with as much "curb appeal" as possible... inside AND out!

Barbara's 35 years of experience as an interior designer has helped her sell more than 15 houses by staging them. She is an Accredited Staging Professional.

Property Management

Do you need someone to watch your property while it is for sale? Someone to let in the plumber, check on the gardener, make sure there was no flooding after a storm? When Barbara Feldman is your Exclusive Listing Agent, that is SOP - standard operating procedure. She will check on your house on a regular basis and watch over it to make sure it is in the condition it needs to be in to sell at the highest possible price at all times. Her clients say she treats their house "as if it were her own."

Project Management

Barbara's years of experience as a space planner, interior designer and construction project manager have helped numerous clients complete minor renovation projects. She will represent YOU during any projects you may have so that everything gets done well and in a timely fashion. From planning interior renovations to completing punch lists to recommending contractors, there is nothing she cannot do on a construction site.

It was a beautiful autumn day in October 2008. The foliage was in full colors: the air was crisp and the bright sun glistened on the pond as my husband and I drove passed onto East Hampton village. We were full of nervous anticipation.

Barbara told us to meet her at the parking lot of the Palm Restaurant. This was our first time to meet her in person. Barbara pulled in on her Jeep looking as bright and cheery as her picture on her website. After making our brief hello's, she handed us a folder of the listings we were about to see. I was struck by her professionalism, organization and personal touch.

Off we went - one house after another - and Barbara showed us the houses in her grace, style and sense of humor. In the months following that momentous day, Barbara walked us through the process every step of the way making us feel assured that we have someone who is looking out for our best interest.
